Prudentia Pty. Limited ('Prudentia') has adopted this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its commitment to
handling private information about organisations and individuals. This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time.
At Prudentia we believe an organisation's and an individual's right to keep its information private is highly important.
We are committed to protecting and maintaining the privacy, accuracy and security of all client information.
Prudentia abides by the National Privacy Principles ('NPPs') under the Privacy Act 1988 as amended by the Privacy

Your Personal Information
Prudentia generally does not collect private information about an individual. Prudentia will only collect information relevant to our business relationship with your organisation. The information we collect will include contact details, financial information and information about your organisation's use of our services and the software that we sell.
Prudentia will not collect any sensitive information, unless this is necessary to provide your organisation with a specific product or service.
If your organisation chooses not to provide information, we may not be able to provide with the products or services your organisation requires, or the level of service on which we pride ourselves.
How we collect information
Prudentia collects personal information in a number of ways, including:
- Directly from your organisation, when you provide information by phone or in documents;
- From publicly available sources of information;
- From our own records of how your organisation uses Prudentia's products and services.
How we use your information
We will limit the use of your organisation's information to:
- Recommending or providing your organisation with the products and services that you may need;
- Carrying out our business which includes Account Management, Planning, Risk Management Consulting, Training, Research and Analysis;
- Fulfilling our legal requirements.
We may use your organisation's information to offer services and products that we believe meet your organisation's needs. However, you can notify us at any time if your organisation does not wish to receive these offers.
Who will use your information
We will not share, sell or trade your organisation's information to any non-Prudentia organisation or person.
- We do allow your organisation's information to be provided to other organisations that perform certain function
or operations for us for the purpose of providing services to you. If we consider the purpose of the disclosure is not within
the reasonable expectation of your organisation, we commit to obtain consent from your organisation before disclosing such information.
- We bind these companies to the same standard of care as we do ourselves so that they cannot provide this information to anyone else.
Your information is secure
- We will use up-to-date techniques and processes, which are consistent with current industry standards to keep your organisation's information secure and confidential.
- Only employees of Prudentia and those who perform services on our behalf are authorised to handle your organisation's information.
- We will not retain any of your organisation's information for any longer than it is required by us, except to fulfil our legal obligations.
Help us to ensure we hold accurate information
Prudentia takes reasonable precautions to ensure that the information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information your organisation provides. That's why we recommend that your organisation:
- Let us know if there are any errors in your organisation's information; and
- Keep us up to date with changes to information supplied to us for the provision of our services.
Your organisation has access to its information
Your organisation has a right to access its information, subject to some exceptions allowed by law and when disclosure of its information is not possible without compromising commercially sensitive information.
If your organisation would like to access its information, please let us know. We may require your organisation to put its request in writing for security reasons.

This service is free unless the information your organisation requests requires significant research or preparation time. Before we act upon requests of this nature, we will tell you how much this service will cost.
What to do if your organisation thinks that we have made an error
Prudentia is committed to the protection of your organisation's privacy, and our policies, processes and systems have been developed with this intent.
However, errors inevitably occur from time to time. If your organisation thinks we have not lived up to our commitment, we invite your representative to contact us.
Our objective is to respond to any complaint within ten working days. Where we have not met our privacy commitments, we will apologise and take reasonable action to correct the practice or omission which led to the error. If we cannot resolve your organisation's concern to its satisfaction, you can refer the matter to the Privacy Commissioner on 1800 023 985.
